Licence Types

At present, the photocopying licence of HKCLA allows the licensee to make photocopies, facsimiles and e-mail of the selected newspapers and magazines, for the following purposes:

  • Internal Reference
  • Instruction Purpose
  • Keeping Photocopies for an Extended Period
  • Course Pack Purpose
  • News Monitoring

    Application Procedures

    1. Download the appropriate application forms.
    2. Completed application form can either be faxed to 2603 7165 or mailed to Room 904, SUP Tower, No. 75 King's Road, North Point, Hong Kong.

    Other Licences

    Separate licences have to be applied for copying and use of newspaper contents in all other manners or other purposes. If you need licences other than those listed above (e.g. library reference, archive purpose, intranet, internet etc.). For enquiries, please call 3586 9943.
